Get Involved
As with any charitable organization, the Home Builders Foundation relies on support from the community to fulfill its mission. You can help the Foundation by donating dollars, your time or your talents. Many people contribute their skills on remodeling projects by serving as a Project Captain, Project Liaison or Project Sponsor. Companies and individuals support the HBF by sponsoring an HBF special event or specific project or by donating materials or providing in-kind services. Others give time by assisting with fundraising events, serving on a committee or offering administrative assistance.
There are a variety of opportunities for involvement with the Foundation and we appreciate them all. These tremendous resources have allowed us to help families in need of home modifications for accessibility that may not otherwise have been able to afford it. In 2011, the Foundation completed 33 projects with a retail value of more than $245,000.
Below are ways that you can support the HBF.

Join an HBF Committee:
- Gifting Council – reviews applications for assistance, develops budgets and schedules for project completions
- The gifting council meets on the first Tuesday of every month. Our next gifting council meeting is Tuesday, February 7th at 1pm.
- Fundraising Council – creates fundraising strategies and has oversight on events
- The fundraising council meets on the first Thursday of every month. Our next fundraising council meeting is Thursday, March 1st at 11am.
- PR/Communications Committee – implements public relations plans and develops media opportunities
- The PR committee meets on the first Wednesday of every month. Our next PR committee meeting is Wednesday, March 7th at 8:30am.
**All council and committee meetings take place at the HBA Building, located at 9033 E. Easter Place, Centennial, CO 80112. We hope to see you at an upcoming meeting!
